Akwaaba Ghana

Akwaaba is Welcome in Ghana.

I just got off the phone with Narda and she has arrived safely. She did say the plane stopped in Nigeria (don't know if that was scheduled or not, it was news to me) and it delayed her getting in a little bit. She did meet successfully with Kingsley and they just started the drive to the school. She sounded releaved to have arrived and to have met up with Kingsley. She sounded tired and the first words from her mouth were "That was a long flight".

Now the adventure begins. Please pray for her and Lilly to make it home safely on the 17th. I'll try and keep you all updated on her experiences as I hear from her.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad Narda made safely to Ghana and hope everything goes as planned.

Steve you're doing great! You should be proud with how well the twins did in primary today especially when there was only one of you!
I wanted to know if there are any school kits or supplies needed in Ghana. We are going to do a service project for our quarterly activity in Primary and we were hopping to do something to benifit where Lily was from. Let me know if you have any ideas! you can email me at yourock_thatsright@yahoo.com
THanks and good luck!!!

Don't worry about the Nigeria thing; she must have flown Luftansa. We did that too and it is just their regular stop from Germany to Accra, but it isn't on all the paperwork. We didn't have to get off the flight at all and they just unload and load and you are on your way. Can't wait to hear more about the trip-best of luck!

I hope all goes well with the visa! Just think of how much more you will appreciate your wife by the time she comes home!
